
Ontario Asparagus + Ribs
Sometimes the best meals are the simplest. Tender Ontario asparagus + your favourite protein on the grill + an easy carb equals a fast, tasty dinner that's restaurant worthy!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ontario asparagus, trimmed
- 1 tbsp oil of choice
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Add to your favourite protein, try ribs, burgers, chicken, steak, porkchops, seafood, etc. Cooked rice, potatoes, garlic bread - or favourite carb.
Instructions
Grilled Asparagus
- Toss asparagus with oil and salt.
- Brush grill lightly with oil.
- Grill over high heat for 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally, until lightly charred and fork tender.
Pan-fried Asparagus
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add asparagus and season with salt.
- Cook for approx. 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender-crisp and lightly browned.
