
Asparagus Chili Crunch Ramen & Salmon
Bold flavours, tender Ontario asparagus, and a drizzle of chili crunch make this an easy dinner that feels anything but ordinary. The richness of the salmon pairs perfectly with spicy noodles and fresh seasonal asparagus.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets
- 1 tsp chipotle seasoning or chili seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ lb Ontario asparagus, trimmed
- 2 packages ramen noodles
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced lengthwise
- 1 red chili pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp chili crunch, or to taste
Instructions
- Season salmon with chipotle seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook Ontario asparagus for approx. 5 minutes until tender-crisp and lightly charred.
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain well.
- Divide noodles between bowls. Top with salmon and asparagus.
- Garnish with green onions and sliced chili pepper.
- Finish with a generous drizzle of chili crunch and serve immediately.
