
Asparagus Pizza

- ½ lb pre-made pizza dough
- 12 Ontario asparagus spears Chose thicker spears so they are easy to peel!
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ¼ cup soft cheese Can use goat cheese, cream cheese, boursin
- Olive Oil
Seasoning
- Sea salt
- Garlic powder
- Oregano
Optional
- Chili Oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475F.
- Trim ends from asparagus. Then shave into thin ribbons use a Y-peeler, or chop it into bite sized pieces.
- Form your pizza dough in a 10-inch pan (or just shape it in an oblong and place on a baking sheet).
- Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano.
- Top with the cheeses and then the asparagus followed by a sprinkling of sea salt.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust looks golden and the asparagus looks charred.
- Drizzle with chili oil and serve!
Notes
For a thicker pizza you can use 1lb of pizza dough and bake for 15-17 minutes.
