Asparagus Pizza

Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb pre-made pizza dough
  • 12 Ontario asparagus spears Chose thicker spears so they are easy to peel!
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup soft cheese  Can use goat cheese, cream cheese, boursin 
  • Olive Oil

Seasoning

  • Sea salt
  • Garlic powder
  • Oregano

Optional

  • Chili Oil for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 475F.
  • Trim ends from asparagus. Then shave into thin ribbons use a Y-peeler, or chop it into bite sized pieces.
  • Form your pizza dough in a 10-inch pan (or just shape it in an oblong and place on a baking sheet).
  • Drizzle with olive oil, garlic powder, dried oregano.
  • Top with the cheeses and then the asparagus followed by a sprinkling of sea salt.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust looks golden and the asparagus looks charred.
  • Drizzle with chili oil and serve!

Notes

For a thicker pizza you can use 1lb of pizza dough and bake for 15-17 minutes.
